UPDATE ON ALI BONGO AND ERAMET. DES NOUVELLES D’ALI BONGO ET ERAMET

The press informs us that while Brice Laccruche Alihanga is preparing, in the name of Ali Bongo, to acquire 11.2% of the Eramet group, he would have gone to Paris, at the Elysée Palace, to meet with Emmanuel Macron’s adviders, and inform them that Eramet has not respected some of the commitments in the agreement signed with the Gabonese State; and that, therefore, Gabon wished to renegotiate this agreement.

The request of Brice Laccruche Alihanga would have been entrusted to Jean-Louis Borloo to relay it to the French mining group. For the moment, Eramet remains silent.

After Veolia, will Eramet be also expelled from Gabon?

La presse nous apprend qu’alors que Brice Laccruche Alihanga s’apprête, au nom d’Ali Bongo, à acquérir 11,2% du groupe Eramet, il se serait rendu à Paris, au palais de l'Elysée, rencontrer des conseillers d’Emmanuel Macron et leur indiquer qu'Eramet n'aurait pas respecté certains des engagements de la convention signée avec l'Etat gabonais ; et que par conséquent, le Gabon souhaitait renégocier cet accord.

La requête de Brice Laccruche Alihanga aurait été confiée à Jean-Louis Borloo pour qu’il la relaie au groupe minier français. Pour l'instant, Eramet reste de marbre.

Apres Veolia, Eramet va-t-il être chassé du Gabon ?
