According to La Lettre du Continent, Ali Bongo has withdrawn SEEG's concession from Veolia, to recover the financial windfall that this company represents and fuel his finances.

The French periodical tells us that, year after year, SEEG takes in around an average of 223 billion CFA francs (340 million euros). Ali Bongo’s coffers being dry, he wants this money absolutely.

The takeover of SEEG would have been driven by Brice Laccruche Alihanga on the direct orders of Ali Bongo. The same article tells us that other French companies established in Gabon would be threatened, given that Veolia is the fourth French company to have a concession withdrawn in Gabon, after the Egis company which lost the concession of the Léon Mba airport of Libreville for the benefit of Olam; and Sodexo and Bouygues groups that have just left the country. Moreover, Vincent Bolloré had to use all of his clout and brandish the threat of revelations through his media empire, so that Ali Bongo associated him in the management of the port of Owendo, in the company of the inevitable Olam.

In Paris, the break between French interests and Gabon is already on the lips.

D’après La Lettre du Continent, Ali Bongo aurait retiré la concession de la SEEG à Veolia, pour récupérer la manne financière que représente cette société pour alimenter ses finances.

Le périodique français nous explique que bon an mal an, la SEEG brasse environ un chiffre d'affaires moyen de 223 milliards F CFA (340 millions d’euros). Les caisses d’Ali Bongo étant à sec, il veut absolument de cet argent.

La reprise de la SEEG aurait été pilotée par Brice Laccruche Alihanga sur ordre direct d’Ali Bongo. Le même article nous dit que d’autres sociétés françaises établies au Gabon seraient menacées, vu que Veolia soit la quatrième entreprise française à se voir retirer une concession au Gabon, après la société Egis qui a perdu la concession de l'aéroport Léon Mba de Libreville au profit d’Olam ; et les groupes Sodexo et Bouygues qui viennent de quitter le pays. Par ailleurs, il a fallu que Vincent Bolloré pèse de tout son poids et brandisse la menace de révélations par le truchement de son empire médiatique, pour qu’Ali Bongo l’associe dans la gestion du port d'Owendo, en compagnie de l’incontournable Olam.

A Paris, la rupture entre les intérêts français et le Gabon serait déjà sur les lèvres.
