English version

La Lettre du Continent informs us that after the splash of his appearance on the talk show "On n’est pas couché," where he stated unambiguously that Ali Bongo had not been elected, Manuel Valls, at least his Matignon services, are purported to be in full operation of demining of the situation.

Following the announcement by the Gabonese government, of the recall of its ambassador to France in protest of the remarks made on Saturday, 16 January 2016 on France 2, by the French Prime Minister, the administrative services of Manuel Valls have tried to quickly defuse the bomb, by receiving in Matignon on 18 January 2016, before leaving for Libreville, Gabon's Ambassador to France, Germain Ngoyo Moussavou.

At Matignon, Ngoyo Moussavou would have been met by Stéphane Romatet, the Diplomatic Advisor to Manuel Valls, and Ibrahima Diawadoh N'Jim, originally from Mauritanian, who is the "Mr. Africa" of the French Prime Minister. La Lettre du Continent says that after this meeting, both sides were eager to smooth the incident, by publishing an official statement marking this appeasement.

We will keep you informed of this statement.
