THE PDG, THE PARTY IN POWER, IS NOT LAWFUL; WHEN INFORMED OF THAT SITUATION, THE MINISTRY OF THE INTERIOR SAYS THAT IT DOES NOT CARE! LE PDG, PARTI AU POUVOIR, N’EST PAS EN RÈGLE AVEC LA LOI. INFORMÉ, LE MINISTÈRE DE L’INTÉRIEUR RÉPOND QU’IL S’EN FOUT!

English Version

A better illustration of the existential crisis of the regime Bongo-PDG in Gabon could not have been made than the exposure of the fact that the PDG is in reality a party not abiding by the rules established by the Gabonese constitution which remains, like it or not, the basic repository of legality in Gabon. As you can read below in this correspondence by Gerard Ella-Nguema informing officials of the Ministry of the Interior of the illegality of the PDG, the response of the Deputy Minister proves sufficiently that the walls of protection of the collective legality are nonexistent because the law is arbitrary and applied a variably according to the individual. In response to the Gabonese citizen that Gerard Ella Nguema happens to be, the Deputy Minister of the Interior says with grace and elegance

"It's all chat, it's crap. Take us to court!”

Here is the type of official to whom Ali Bongo entrusts with the responsibilities of the Gabonese government. When it accepted with indifference that the party-State is illegal, this gives a fairly strong idea of the consideration that this regime has for legality, its own in front of the law!

Happy reading (the documents presented to the Ministry of the Interior are in French below)

Bonne lecture
